Autumn at Abernant
The weather has been mild and as we drift into November we are
still surrounded by the most beautiful display of colour in the trees.
Abernant is surrounded by woodland and looks across the Wye
Valley towards Aberedw Rocks and each walk and view is a golden, orange, red,
russet and ochre joy. The leaves are still on the trees but beginning to tumble
in pretty drifts of crunchy leaves which leave carpets of deep gold.
In the garden we are blessed to have some very fine specimen
trees which are stunning in all their autumnal glory. The acers astound me with
their glowing red foliage and our beautiful copper beech shines with deep rusty
gold leaves.
Having time to sit or wander and enjoy the garden is one of
the joys of working at Abernant but as guests you, too, could enjoy this wondrous
splendour.
We do still have some late availability dates in November
and December so please do get in touch.
